RETINAL TAMPONADES

Our range of Ophthafutur retinal tamponades boast a 25-year zero recall – an unsurpassed safety profile. EXPANSIVE GASES – SF6 (C2F6 and C3F8 available soon). Our high purity expansive gas is available in a simple to use application system. The Ophthafutur® gas is supplied in glass containers and the system also includes a preassembled sterile plastic syringe to prepare the gas mixture and a small gauge needle to facilitate the injection. A patient information card and a patient bracelet are included.

HEAVY LIQUIDS (DECALINE)

Ophthafutur® decaline liquids are highly purified by a unique and multi-step process, during which, all potential impurities are removed down to a level of not more than 10ppm, which represents the limit of quantification. The Ophthafutur decaline is available in a convenient to use pre-filled 7ml syringe.

SILICON OILS

Ophthafutur® silicone oils are ultra-purified according to a multi-step FDA approved process; by combining extraction, thermal treatment and filtration, all critical impurities are separated. The materials of the primary containers are selected to prevent any recontamination during manufacturing and storage. The Ophthafutur Silicone Oils are available in ready to use 10ml pre-filled syringes in 1000, 2000, and 5000 centistokes.

EXPANSIVE GASES

Our high purity, single-use expansive gas is available in sf6, c2f6 and c3f8. With a simple to use application system, Ophthafutur® gas has improved convenience and safety is enhanced. With adjustable gas concentration – select the concentration of gas that best suits your needs. Opthafutur Expansive gases provide an environmentally friendly, top quality, post-surgical support for tamponading the retina.

Our Oertli 23G, 25G and 27G Caliburn ™ Trocar systems have an innovative razor-sharp blade resulting in optimum cutting geometry in the sclera. The slim tunnel incision guarantees excellent postoperative wound tightness and thus fast healing of the wound; the penetrating forces are reduced to a minimum. The integrated sealing membrane prevents an escape of BSS, air or oil, guaranteeing Constant IOP during the whole surgical process.
