Chandelier illumination provides true bimanual manipulation during vitreoretinal surgery.

Our flexible chandelier solution is fitted with a flexible light fibre. This provides global visibility of the fundus for all surgical maneuvers in the posterior segment.

All chandelier illuminators from Oertli offer one-step access through a quick trocar-based solution in either 3-or 4-port vitrectomy surgeries. Due to the reliable snap-lock connection an accurate fixation into any Oertli Caliburn trocar is ensured. The surgeon can expect an extra wide and homogeneous illumination, as well as postoperative tight sclerotomies.

All light instruments have a comfort magnetic connector to the posterior platforms.

We’re very excited to introduce the innovative Windsor Knife, manufactured by Core Surgical and designed by Richard Packard. The knife is designed to create a symmetrical wound that requires minimal stromal hydration to seal.

If you currently use a single bevel blade for multi-plane incisions, there will be little difference needed in technique when using the Windsor Knife. However, please be aware that due to the unique configuration of the blade it may feel slightly different from your usual keratome.

For the best results please follow these guidelines when making 3-Plane and 2-Plane incisions.

After several years of effort, we at Envision are proud to announce our ISO 13485 certification. As both manufacturer and distributor, the requirements placed on us by the standard are very demanding. DQS, our conformity assessment body of choice, conducted the certification audit on the 26th of February and has now certified us with no findings to report. DQS is an internationally recognised certification body and so has very stringent standards.

We will continue to strive for excellence in quality management.

ADDRESS TO ENVISION CUSTOMERS

Dear valued customer,

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, Envision has taken measures in line with Government guidelines and requirements to maintain continuity of service and supply in case of emergency.

We have surveyed the needs of all our customers and based on the response we have scaled back our operations to only the absolute essentials. Our production will continue in a strictly limited fashion and our logistics will operate on a purely as-and-when needed basis. We have elected to make sole use of couriers to limit the number of staff who need to travel. As a result of this and the fact that couriers have reduced their respective operations, a minimum lead time of 48 hours for emergency deliveries will apply.

Our ophthalmic representatives and technicians will remain on standby to attend theatre in case of emergency only. Please ensure that you have a well justified reason to request their presence in theatre and please be available should the authorities need to confirm the essentiality of their attendance.

For further information on the COVID-19 pandemic, please visit the Government website located at: https://sacoronavirus.co.za/

We wish you and your family health and safety during this time would like to reassure you that we stand ready to recommence full operation at the closure of the lockdown.

Yours faithfully,

James Wright
